Privacy notice
This is a draft for a product in development. The legal operator and privacy contact are placeholders and must be completed before launch.
Who operates Frynk?
Legal operator: to be confirmed. Privacy contact: to be announced. This notice is not a final legal policy.
This website
This preview does not collect contact submissions or newsletter signups and does not add marketing analytics. Netlify and Cloudflare process ordinary hosting, delivery and security data such as request and network information.
Your media and Home
Your photo library and its backup metadata live on your own devices and Home storage, rather than a Frynk-hosted photo library. Local backup preserves originals by default. Home storage is not currently encrypted at rest by Frynk.
Optional accounts
Frynk’s own backend handles authentication. Firestore stores account information, credential hashes, sessions and minimal Home bindings. Brevo delivers verification and password-reset emails. Firebase Authentication is not used.
Optional remote access
A Home administrator must explicitly enable remote access for that Home. An account alone does not enable it. Media sent remotely passes through a relay in transit. Transport encryption is used, but this is not end-to-end encryption; the operator can access relayed content.
What remains to be completed
The final policy will identify the operator, privacy contact, applicable legal bases, retention periods, processor terms, international transfers and the process for exercising privacy rights. Those details are not represented as final in this preview.
